I am Liz from Australia, and am helping Mohammed Obaid with raising money to get his family out of Gaza to safety in Egypt. Please help by donating and sharing the campaign widely, via email, word of mouth and social media!
Mohammed holds onto hope and refuses to despair despite the horrors and unjust hardships inflicted on his homeland Palestine. He aims to get his family safely out of Gaza to Egypt where he has a friend willing to help them. An Egyptian company offers to help people escape from Gaza via the Rafah crossing to Arish, Sinai in Egypt but at immense cost of $3,000.00 (USD) per person. Adding in an extra $10,000 to help them with food, clothing, and other living costs, Mohammed and his family need $40,000.00 which is just over $72,000.00 in Australian dollars.
