Hi, I’m Alyssa and I’ve set up this campaign on behalf of my friend Shams in Palestine. As you may know, the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza have destroyed many homes and left the population of Gaza without running water, electricity, and affordable food. Even aid is being blocked from entering to help civilians. As it stands now, 83% of the recorded deaths in Gaza are civilians, including children. Your support can help a family to survive these horrible circumstances.

Here is a description of their situation in her own words:

“My name is Shams. I am from a small village in Gaza called Juhr-Al-Deek. Our family’s life was turned upside down when we were forced to leave our home. This began a long and heartbreaking journey of displacement, moving from Jurh-Al-Deek to Rafah, then to Khan Younis, then to Deir Al-Balah, and now to Nuseirat. During this journey, we lost the most precious people in our lives: my two sisters and my nephew in the bombing. Our grief is immense, but we are holding on to each other. Now we are living in a tent, struggling to survive each day. The prices here are unimaginable and we face constant hardship to find food and clean water.”
