“Hello, my name is Sameh Kamal Owaidah, a Palestinian from Gaza, living in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Before October 7th, I used to play football at the Beach Club. Life was beautiful — filled with joy, family, friends, and a sense of normalcy. I had a job, a home, and a future. Since the war began, everything has changed. Life turned into a nightmare. I lost my job, my house, and dear friends who shared my days at the club. The neighborhood where I was born and raised no longer exists. Today, only my mother, my older brother, and I remain. We have survived, but with nothing left. What happened was beyond my control. I’ve done my best to rebuild, but the situation keeps worsening. I sincerely ask for your support. We need help to endure these harsh conditions. Thank you to everyone who can offer assistance to me and my family.”
