Hello, my name is Megan. I have created this campaign on behalf of my friend Asma, who lives in Gaza. Here is her story, in her words: Hello, my name is Asma. We are a large family of four households living under one roof in a single home, trying to endure hunger, hardship, and harsh conditions.

Two of our brothers are detained by the occupation, and their families – including small children – live with us. We are 16 people, most of us women and children. Our father is the only breadwinner, doing his best despite all circumstances, but what he has is not enough to secure even the most basic necessities of life. Our children suffer from worsening malnutrition, and every day we slowly lose the ability to provide milk or bread. We ask for nothing more than our daily sustenance and dignity. My father is tired, and I want to help him provide for our family. Please be our source of hope and comfort during this dark time. Your support, even $1, could mean the difference between life and death for us.
