Fundraiser for Ahmed from Gaza

Dear everyone,
I am Ahmed from Gaza. I am currently living in China pursuing higher studies.
I travelled to China 1 month before the brutal war started and i lost everything including beloved members of my family.
I did not imagine in a million years such a thing could happen as i smiled and said what would be my final goodbye to some of them.
After surviving few months in the war, my father, 2 of my sisters and their 8 children and extended family were mercilessly killed. It has left a deep wound in my heart that i can probably never recover from.
The remnants of what used to be our family home, where our family spent many a days laughing and just trying to live, can be seen on what used to be a street in Gaza.
My family in Gaza dont have any means of an income and as a student neither do i. Although I have been trying to provide them with the little iam able to save after rent and other expenses in China, its far from enough.
Meanwhile, my family is facing unthinkable and dangerous living conditions. They are currently living in tents and depend heavily on international aid for food and basic needs. And as you know, aid is also very limited.
The economic blockade and violence have driven food prices to unthinkable levels. Here are the current costs of some basic staples in Gaza:
1kg of flour: $60 USD
1kg of sugar: $120 USD
1kg of pasta: $30 USD
1kg of lentils: $26 USD
1kg of rice: $45 USD
1kg of tomatoes and eggplant: $34 USD
1kg of potatoes: $30 USD
My pride has forbidden me from asking for help previously but the length of the war has drained every bit of hope and strength in me.
My only hope now is that you, my brothers and sister of the world, help me gather whats left of my family and try to help them survive. My mother is elderly and sickly with diabetes. My brother is unable to provide food and himself collapsed from hunger. My sisters and their children, my wife, my children are trying to survive in these extra ordinary circumstances. Please help to try and at least save them from hunger, if not from the bullets and bombs.
So that they can live until iam able to see and hug them next time.
