I conducted video verification and created this account to help raise urgent assistance for Lameen’s starving family in Gaza. I am Lameen, a resident of the Gaza Strip. For more than two years, my family and I have been living in a state of forced displacement due to the ongoing war. We lost our home and our source of livelihood, and we now live under the weight of fear, hunger, and the absence of even the most basic necessities of life.
Every day, we face bombings and struggle to secure food and water, while the world remains silent about our suffering. The world has failed us with its deadly silence. For two years, we in Gaza have lived under war, bombardment, hunger, and deprivation—while no one moves to help. Our children are being killed, our homes destroyed, our tears dried up—and the world simply watches.
