Help Asmaa Abu Mustafa – A Survivor in Desperate Need

Asmaa Abu Mustafa is a young woman from Gaza whose life was shattered when an airstrike destroyed her home. She survived, but she was not spared harm. Asmaa sustained severe injuries, leaving her in pain and in need of urgent medical care, which is nearly impossible to obtain under the blockade.

She now lives in constant fear, surrounded by hunger, destruction, and the sounds of war. She has lost family members. War and destruction is the only sight.

Asmaa still clings to hope, but she needs your help.

Donate to support her recovery and survival.

My friends, I hope you all pay attention. For several days now, I have been appealing to everyone to help me and my family with the costs of displacement, given that the army has come very close to our area. I fear that time will be delayed even more while we wait for help. I do not want anything bad and scary to happen to us again, like what happened to me and my family before, when our house was bombed and I sustained several serious injuries, and my brother and his children were martyred. Therefore, I ask you and appeal to you to stand by us and do not let us down. We want to leave that area as soon as possible. Do not forget also that 50% of every donation we receive is allocated to currency sellers in exchange for money due to the scarcity of cash in the Gaza Strip. Thank you for listening. Every small amount makes a big difference in this frightening ordeal. With our sincere gratitude for any care and support you can provide now. Thank you again for your humanity, all of you.

My friends and

The main reason for writing this update is that Asma wrote to tell me that they have been unable to leave their dangerous area despite the army’s approach. The cost of displacement and renting a place for themselves is at least $2,500 for the first month. Asma’s home was bombed and she sustained several critical injuries. She cannot return to a tent because of the pain in her back and she cannot get exposed to sunlight.

The famine in Gaza is worsening, and the killing and destruction continue unabated.

As before, food prices are exorbitant. They are about twenty times higher than they were before the blockade. Two tomatoes can cost as much as $20! Bread flour is still precarious, and food is limited to the most basic items such as sugar, oil, rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas, or canned foods. Sometimes even some spices. Clean water is scarce.

And… of every donation we receive, 50% goes to currency traders due to the scarcity of cash in the Gaza Strip.

This is not normal life. It’s famine, blockade, and a struggle for survival under extremely violent conditions. A campaign of annihilation is being broadcast extensively, with feelings of despair and hopelessness rife.

Thank you for listening, for caring, and for not turning a blind eye. Even a small amount makes a huge difference in this ordeal.

Join us as we continue to offer hope, love, and care amidst all this despair and suffering. Asmaa is fighting to keep her family alive, and so far she has managed to stay away from the “humanitarian centers” that resemble killing zones. Thanks to your donations,

With sincere gratitude for any additional care and support you can offer now. Thank you again for your humanity.

I am writing this with tears in my eyes and pain in my heart. My family and I are still living in a place where every day we hear the sounds of death and loss around us. As the army closes in, our street has become a place of constant danger and it is no longer safe for us to stay.

My situation is even harder because I am injured with metal plates in my spine. The heat and the sun cause me unbearable pain, which makes it impossible for me to live in a tent again.

We are in desperate need of your kindness. I am urgently asking for your help to support me and my family so we can move to a safer place and cover the cost of rent. Any help you can give will make a real difference and bring us closer to safety and dignity.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who feels my pain and stands with us in this difficult time.

With love and endless gratitude, Asmaa
