-My name is Jazmine, a simple mother of 2 young boys who just happened to be born in the “right” country. This is my friend, Amira, a mother of 4 young boys who have been living a nightmare for over 600 days because they were born into the “wrong” country.
If I am to do one good thing in life, let it be someone to share her story and message.
Here is her message:
” Help a Mother Feed Her Children in War-Torn Gaza
My name is Amira, a mother of four children living in Gaza, and I am writing this appeal with a heart full of pain and desperation.
Since the war began, our lives have been turned into a nightmare. Our home was completely destroyed in the bombings, and we now live in a tent, exposed to the cold, the heat, and the fear of ongoing violence.
My husband used to run an optical center, which was our only source of income. That center has also been destroyed. We have lost everything — our home, our work, and our sense of safety.
Right now, we are struggling every single day just to survive. My children often go to sleep hungry. There is no stable source of food, no clean water, and no safe shelter. We are in the middle of a devastating famine.
Your donations will go directly toward: • Buying food and milk for my children • Purchasing diapers and basic necessities • Helping us survive from day to day under these inhumane conditions
Once the border opens, we will need to evacuate to safety. But evacuation from Gaza is extremely expensive — $5,000 per person, and we are a family of six. I am trying to prepare for that day, in the hope of giving my children a chance at life.
Please, even the smallest donation can make a big difference. Your support means we can survive today — and maybe, one day, start again.
