Nabd Al-Khayam – The Pulse of the Tents
A grassroots relief initiative for displaced families in Gaza
Right now in Gaza, tens of thousands of families are living in tents—many of them without proper shelter, shoes, food, or even clean water. Entire communities have been reduced to fabric and dust, clinging to hope with nothing but their resilience. Amid this ongoing humanitarian catastrophe, a small team of local volunteers is working tirelessly to bring real, immediate help to the people most in need.
We are Nabd Al-Khayam—which means “The Pulse of the Tents.” This is a local, community-led initiative created by my dear friend in Gaza, in partnership with me. Our mission is simple: to bring aid and dignity to families living in tent camps across Gaza. We listen to the needs on the ground and respond directly—without bureaucracy or delay.
Our current efforts include:
Providing sturdy tents and essential shelter materials for families left with nothing.
Distributing food packages with rice, canned goods, flour, and oil.
Launching a shoe distribution project so children and adults aren’t forced to walk barefoot in the heat and rubble.
Responding to urgent needs as they arise—from hygiene supplies to baby formula to warm blankets.
We are starting small, but with your help, we can grow. Every dollar makes a direct impact. This is not a large NGO—this is a team of real people who know the families they serve, who live alongside them, and who are committed to restoring a sense of care and community to those who have lost everything.
We’ll continue updating our donors with photos and videos of our work, and you’ll be able to see exactly how your support is helping people on the ground.

This weekend, the team delivered a water truck in the North for the people who needed it most. Every donation goes towards helping those displaced due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Hi everyone! This past weekend, Maysara and his team distributed formula to families in the North of Gaza, along the beach. These families do not have links or phones to recieve help from the outside. Thats why we made this link. We need help! Your support will increase the amount of aid we can purchase each week. Without donations, these families may not see any aid at all. The situation is dire, and malnutrition is effecting every person in Gaza.
