I am Ibrahim Hamad, a 21-year-old young man from Gaza, living in Beit Hanoun. I am the eldest son in a family of ten, in addition to my dear grandmother, who is disabled. Since my father became elderly and began to suffer from fatigue and exhaustion, I have been primarily responsible for my family and my younger siblings.
We lived a simple life, but one filled with love and hope, until the war came and stole everything from us. We lost our home, our dreams, and even our city, ending up displaced. Today, we live in a small tent that offers neither protection from the cold nor the heat, nor even the slightest degree of safety or dignity.
I was a student in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and had completed my first four years. But the war prevented me from completing my education, and I lost two years of my life with no hope of returning to school soon.
All I care about now is how to save my family, how to provide for them the bare necessities of life, and how to secure medicine for my sick grandmother, whom I love with all my heart and cannot bear the thought of losing. I will do the impossible for her and for my hungry little brothers, but I cannot do it alone.
You are my hope after God.
Every donation from you, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in our lives.
Please don’t forget us. Our hearts still beat with hope thanks to you.
My grandmother is awaiting treatment, and my brothers are waiting for a bite to satisfy their hunger.
Help me, for you are the light in the darkness of this war.
Dear friends,
I would like to clarify that the commission on donations here has reached 45%, which means I only receive approximately half of what you donate.
So, please seriously consider helping us. Every contribution from you, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in my life and the life of my family and gives us some hope in the midst of this darkness.
May God bless you all ❤️
I lost my grandmother… I lost the most precious thing in my heart. I loved her beyond description and did everything I could to help her, but the cruelty of life was beyond my control. The lack of medicine and food exhausted her body and weakened her health until she passed away yesterday.
My grief for her is indescribable, and my heart is filled with fear that I will lose another member of my family. After all this injustice and pain we are experiencing, I can no longer bear it. Yesterday, I dug a grave with my own hands for the most precious person in my life and buried her… That was the hardest moment I have ever experienced, and I pray to God that no one ever experiences such a situation or the loss of a loved one.
I was collecting donations for my family and to buy medicine for my grandmother. I did everything I could for her, enduring a lot, but malnutrition took her life. I ask God to have mercy on her and forgive her, and to grant me the patience and strength to endure what we are going through.
Dear friends,
I have a friend who has stood by me more than once, and thanks to him, we were able to help all the families in the camp where I live. We were able to provide three water trucks at intervals, and we also distributed a kilo of flour to each family.
I cannot describe the joy and happiness everyone felt. Their faces were beaming with smiles, and their hearts were filled with gratitude. I, too, was so happy to be the reason for these beautiful moments. Everyone loved me even more afterward, and this is all thanks to God and then to my generous friend.
But my friend cannot bear these costs alone… We need you.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives and bring us joy.
Please support our campaign and help us secure food and water.
If you have an idea or a way to help us or spread the word, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported us, and I hope you see the pictures and the joy that fills us when your aid arrives.
To the compassionate…
I am Ibrahim Nael Hamad, 21 years old, from beloved Gaza City. Amidst the harsh war, hunger, and destruction we experience daily, I am writing this letter to you, hoping it will resonate with your kind hearts.
We have lost everything: our homes, our dreams, and even the most basic necessities of life. All we have left is a small tent to shelter us in a camp housing about 25 families, most of whom are my relatives, some of whom I have only recently met. We are all living in tragic and difficult conditions.
We are suffering from severe hunger, and no one is adopting or supporting this camp due to the enormous pressure on humanitarian organizations. Many children here are losing consciousness from hunger, and they have nothing to eat, and so is my family. Even water has become a burden; we are forced to walk 500 meters every day to fill a few containers, even though our bodies are exhausted from the lack of food.
So, I decided to launch a simple humanitarian campaign to help my family and the residents of this forgotten camp, simply by providing food and water. We don’t ask for much, just the bare minimum to survive.
Please look at us with compassion and help us with whatever you can, even if it’s just the simplest thing.
Thank you from my heart for reading my story, and I hope you’ll check out my campaign as well.
May God reward you.
