Hello, my name is Hamada, and I live with my family in Gaza.
I’m writing this with a heavy heart, during the darkest chapter of our lives.
Since the war began, we have lost everything our income, our safety, and our ability to provide even the most basic needs. Every day, we wake up to the sound of drones, with empty stomachs and fear in our hearts. There is no work, no food security, and no future in sight.
But what breaks me the most is seeing my little niece Nema ❤️ suffer. She is a beautiful, innocent child full of life and dreams but she’s growing weaker by the day due to severe malnutrition. There is nothing more painful than watching a child starve while being helpless to stop it.
We are not asking for luxury. We are just a family that wants to live in peace, with dignity, and hope.
