Save Waed and her family in besieged Gaza Strip!!!
United States
*eThe Story of Waed – A Dream Delayed, Not Broken*
My name is Waed, a 23 year-old dental student from Gaza. For years, I have worked hard with one dream: to become a dentist and help people in my community. But my journey has been anything but easy.
War after war has torn through our lives. Our home has been destroyed, and we have been displaced multiple times. Most recently, I lost my only brother — the heart of our family, our protector, and the one who carried so much love and light. Since his martyrdom, I’ve become the main support for my grieving parents, sisters, and young nephews and nieces.
Because of the war, I haven’t been able to continue my education. I’m now months behind, and if I cannot pay my university fees soon, I will lose my chance to graduate and help rebuild what has been broken.
I’m not asking for much — only a chance. A chance to finish what I started. A chance to bring some hope back to my family. Every small donation can make a difference. And if you can’t donate, please share my story. Let the world know we’re still here, still holding on, and still dreaming.
With love and hope, *Waed Abu Rjeila* Gaza – 2025
