Help a Palestinian family survive the genocide in Gaza – the Al Jeedy family
Australia
Hello, my name is Tara. I am part of a group of Australian women, raising funds for verified Palestinian families in Gaza, and I am a sponsor of a fundraiser for another Palestinian family in Gaza.
I met Soha, a Palestinian mother in Gaza through the family I am sponsoring in Gaza. Soha’s family, like all other families in Gaza has been struggling financially during this genocide, and she is looking to support her family of 5 to help feed them and provide them shelter.
Please read Soha’s story below, and if you can, please leave Soha a donation. Any amount counts – even a donation the price of a coffee.
We are trying to survive as a family of five, surrounded by war, hunger, and fear here in Gaza.
Every day we wake up alive, but we don’t feel safe — it feels like a nightmare that never ends.
For months, we have lived under constant bombing in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, in a fragile tin shelter that protects us from neither the cold nor the heat, nor from the death that lurks nearby.
The hardest part is watching my children suffer from hunger with nothing to give them.
My eldest son, Qusay, is 11 years old but weighs only 20 kg. Khaled, 9 years old, weighs just 17 kg. And my daughter Zeina, my youngest, is 5 years old and weighs less than 10 kg.
The war has destroyed everything — our home, our safety, our source of income, and even food has become a distant dream.
Since March, the borders have been completely closed. Famine worsens every day, prices are skyrocketing, and I watch my children grow weaker, powerless to help them.I appeal to the world, to anyone who can help — please be a light in this darkness.
Your donation can save lives, feed hungry children, and give us a chance to survive.
Please help us, even a little — because here, the smallest kindness can mean everything.
Your donation will feed the 5 members of this family. Thank you.
