The Roaya Cultural Center staff is made up of a group of Palestinian volunteers who work tirelessly to offer free essential and frontline care, programs and activities to Palestinian children and their families living in camps. The Center is a gathering place where families receive support, and children/youth are supported in exploring their potential and amplifying their voices. These camps are home to intergenerational families who have been displaced since the first Nakba, and are seeing a rise in numbers and an overwhelming need for food, basic supplies, literacy/education programs and more. We do everything we can to restore any sense of normalcy, hope and joy in Palestinian children’s lives.

The Center is driven by love and hope, through the inexhaustible devotion and commitment of unpaid volunteers/staff volunteers. We do this work because Palestinian children and their future matter. All proceeds go directly to supporting displaced and dispossessed Palestinian children, youth, families and elders from the ongoing Nakba. We support and nurture confidence-building, hope and skills development for displaced children and youth living in Palestinian camps in Lebanon, who are otherwise unable to access education as well as other vital supports. Our children and youth dream of being writers, poets, singers, performers, filmmakers, and more – and we want them to know and believe that anything is possible. We seek to uplift, celebrate and preserve Palestinian culture & art through hope and resilience. We want them to tell their stories, and to know there is more to life than survival and destruction. Help us show them it’s true, and that they’re not alone.

BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR! The Center offers support to 200 Palestinian children right now with varying needs and contexts (living with disabilities, orphans, in need of access to meals and education, recently displaced from Gaza, and more). If 100 people contribute 20$ CAD a month, we would meet our monthly goal (2000$ CAD) to keep our doors open and continue to provide frontline essential care, aid, services and programs.

Any additional funding received will be used for items and supplies, such as ingredients for the kitchen to offer free meals, educational and literary supplies/materials for educational programming for children, youth and their families who have no access to education, cultural programs, snacks and toys for children, and more. If you prefer to make a one-time donation, we welcome that and appreciate you – anything helps. Becoming a monthly donor supports us in becoming sustainable in the face of dire need and to meet the ongoing challenges facing survivors for months and years to come. يتكوّن فريق عمل مركز رؤية من مجموعة من المتطوعين الفلسطينيين الذين يعملون بلا كلل لتقديم الرعاية الأساسية والمباشرة، والبرامج والأنشطة للأطفال الفلسطينيين وأسرهم الذين يعيشون في المخيمات. المركز هو مكان للتجمع حيث تتلقى الأسر الدعم ، ويُمنح فيه الأطفال والشباب الدعم لاستكشاف قدراتهم وتعزيز أصواتهم. هذه المخيمات هي موطن للعائلات عبر الأجيال التي تم تهجيرها منذ النكبة الأولى، وتشهد ارتفاعًا في الأعداد وحاجة ماسة إلى الطعام، والاحتياجات الأساسية، وبرامج محو الأمية والتعليم والمزيد. نفعل كل ما بوسعنا لاستعادة أي شعور بالتحقق، والأمل، والفرح في حياة الأطفال الفلسطينيين.

المركز يستمد طاقاته مشحون بالحب و الأمل ، من خلال التفاني والالتزام اللامتناهي من قبل المتطوعين/المتطوعين العاملين في المركز. نقوم بهذا العمل لأن الأطفال الفلسطينيين ومستقبلهم في غاية الأهمية و جزء من كل إنسان حر. جميع العائدات تذهب مباشرة لدعم الأطفال الفلسطينيين المهجرين والمحرومين، والشباب، والأسر، وكبار السن من النكبة المستمرة.

ندعم ونرعى بناء الثقة والأمل وتنمية المهارات للأطفال والشباب المهاجرين الذين يعيشون في المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان، والذين لا يستطيعون الوصول إلى التعليم وأشكال الدعم الحيوية الأخرى. يحلم أطفالنا وشبابنا بأن يصبحوا كتابًا، وشعراء، ومغنين، وفنانين، ومخرجين سينمائيين، وأكثر – ونحن نريدهم أن يعرفوا ويؤمنوا أن كل شيء ممكن. نسعى لرفع، والاحتفاء، والحفاظ على الثقافة والفن الفلسطيني من خلال الأمل والصمود. نريدهم أن يروون قصصهم، وأن يعرفوا أن هناك أكثر في الحياة من مجرد البقاء على قيد الحياة والتدمير. ساعدونا في إظهار أن هذا حقيقي، وأنهم ليسوا وحدهم.
