Urgent: Help Save Bilal’s Life After Devastating Head Injury in Gaza
Hello, my name is Megan, and I’m fundraising on behalf of 21-year-old Emad and his family, who are currently facing an unimaginable crisis in northern Gaza.
Bilal, Emad’s brother, was critically injured when Israeli forces fired on their area. A piece of shrapnel from an explosive bullet entered Bilal’s skull, breaking his skull and causing severe trauma to his brain. His condition is extremely critical.
Right now, Bilal is hospitalised at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, but doctors there say they cannot operate due to the seriousness of the injury and a lack of surgical equipment and resources. The only hope for Bilal’s survival is a medical evacuation abroad to receive the life-saving surgery he urgently needs.
This campaign is to raise money for:
Emergency medical costs Daily hospital expenses (medication, basic care, food) Evacuation and treatment abroad Support for the family of 9, including Emad’s younger sisters, Lamis (8) and Lian (10), who are traumatised and hungry The family is devastated. They have no way to pay for food, let alone the high costs of treatment and evacuation.
