My name is Mohammad Haroun. I hold a Master’s degree in Law from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and I’m a father of two.

Life here has become nearly unbearable because of the ongoing war. When my second son, also named Mohammad, was born, it didn’t feel like it did when I had my first child. The war had already taken everything—our home, our peace, and even our moments of joy. I couldn’t feel the happiness a father should feel. It was replaced with fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak.

We’re facing a severe shortage of food. It’s incredibly hard to provide healthy nutrition for my newborn. Every day is a struggle just to meet our basic needs. I have no stable income, and no one else to help support my family.

Because of all this, I’m desperately looking for a way to leave Gaza. I want to give my children a real chance at life—a place where my baby can get proper care, where my older son can go to school, and where we can live in safety and dignity. At this point, stability isn’t just a dream. It’s a basic need. We just want to live like any other family—with hope, peace, and a future.
