I’m Amira Al Najjar, a 14-year-old from Gaza. My family includes my five younger sisters, our blind father, and our mother who cares for us. We’ve been displaced multiple times from our home in Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis, due to the ongoing genocide, and now reside in Mawasi Khan Yunis. Recently, I fell ill and was given expired medication at a poorly stocked clinic. This, along with witnessing my sister’s current severe sickness, has solidified my resolve to escape Gaza. This hope sustains me through the unimaginable daily suffering my sisters and I endure.

I started this campaign because donations are critically slow; we went two weeks without a single dollar. While grateful for the $82 from six donors, it’s insufficient for my sister’s treatment or even a week’s worth of food due to soaring prices. Please help my five young sisters, our parents, and me – the backbone of our family. Any donation, even small and consistent amounts, is vital. Please share this widely to reach potential donors. Your donation is our lifeline and will save our lives. Thank you. — Amira Al Najjar
