Survival funds for Ahmed and his mother and siblings
United States
Hi, my name is Mandy, and I’m creating this campaign for Ahmed al Najjar, a young teen from Gaza. The funds from this campaign will help him and his family purchase food, medicine, shelter, and other necessities.
I was introduced to Ahmed through his brother Bahaa. Ahmed is only 14 years old and has already suffered too much. His family has been displaced from their home in Khan Yunis and are without adequate medication and sustenance for all the injuries they’ve sustained so far. Ahmed himself is mending from a broken foot and hand, and is in great pain. And worse, he and his mother Najat and his younger siblings have been going days in between meals.
In case you are not aware by now, the prices for everything from flour to painkillers, diapers, batteries, etc. are heavily inflated due to the intentional starvation and blockade imposed upon Gaza. Between this and the constant bombing, the goal of the illegal occupation is to make life in Gaza unbearable and unlivable. As such Ahmed and his family have to live separately from many of their relatives as a way to ensure a single airstrike cannot take them all out. How twisted is that! In donating, you will personally be helping this family survive and resist this genocide.
Please share and contribute!
Additional info for transparency:
The campaign goal will be increased as necessary. Ahmed and his family will be receiving the funds through his brother Bahaa. Currently, Bahaa has a friend, Kevin Wu, who sends him money through another person in Turkiye. For the time being, I will be sending money from this campaign to Kevin who will send it to the contact in Turkiye who will then send it to Bahaa, but I am working with Bahaa to set up a USDT crypto wallet which will help them receive funds faster and also skip wire fees.
Ahmed asked me to show everyone that about a week ago he was able to purchase some flour with the money raised. He and his family are still fighting to survive despite the occupation’s illegal siege and blockade. Prices have continued to increase, but your donations do make a difference. Please continue sharing and contributing to help this family through this.
There’s been a nice surge of donations the past few days. Thank you all who have shared and donated. Ahmed hopes to raise a bit more before I send him the next portion of funds. He set a reasonable goal of about $100 more. I plan to contribute $20 dollars, if just 5 others can match my donation it would help immensely. If you’ve donated recently, thank you very much, please see if you can share the campaign with some others who might be able.
