Hi, Assalamualaikum,

My name is Sozan AboMoawad, I’m a 23-year-old Palestinian from North Gaza. Long story short—my city is destroyed, my home is gone, and so many of my people have been lost. We’ve been living through war for more than a year now. Everything familiar has vanished.

But despite the devastation, I still believe in life. I still believe in the future.

Together with kind and supportive people I’ve met online, I’ve started a small project through social media—to share my story, raise awareness, and try to build the foundations for a new life. I create videos and content not just to survive, but to work toward something meaningful: to rebuild, to grow, to find dignity and hope again.

This is not just a call for help. It’s a step toward a future I am trying to shape with everything I have left.

I’m humbly asking for your support for me and my family. We are exhausted, hungry, dehydrated. We’re getting sick due to contaminated water, poor nutrition, and the harsh conditions we’re living in. Our situation is urgent: we need food, clean water, medicine, tents for shelter—and above all, the hope that we are not alone.

Your support isn’t just material aid—it’s a gesture of love and solidarity. As the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “This Ummah is like one body: if one part is hurt, the whole body suffers.”

Let’s help each other live, and build again. Please donate if you can—and if you can’t, share this message, follow my story, and make dua for us. Every act matters.

May Allah SWT reward you all. With gratitude, Sozan AboMoawad

Hello everyone, my name is Francesco Savini. I met Sozan through social media, thanks to an Italian activist who works on raising awareness about the situation in Gaza.

Sozan is an extremely talented and intelligent young woman, with a strong desire to work and build a future for herself. From our encounter, this project was born: through this campaign and the content we create and design together, we want to share her story and send a message of hope.

The goal is to help Sozan not only get through this critical phase of the war, but also to lay the foundations for her professional and working future.

To do this, however, Sozan needs the most basic things: she needs to be able to eat, to live with dignity, and to have a minimum level of stability.

That’s why I’m asking for your help through a donation—not just to help her survive, but to give her the chance to build a future.

By donating, you’re giving Sozan the opportunity to live her life with dignity, to believe in and imagine a tomorrow once again. And the future is precisely the first thing that has been stolen from so many people like her.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone who chooses to help us.

All funds raised through this campaign will be entirely donated to Sozan AboMoawad, who, as described above, is in urgent need of help.

To ensure maximum transparency, every donation will be tracked and recorded, and a periodic report of the funds collected and transferred will be published.

Anyone who wishes to receive detailed information or verify the destination of the funds may contact me directly at the email address [email protected]

Thank you for your support.

It’s deeply moving to see goodness with your own eyes, and to witness what it can truly accomplish.

This week, thanks to your generous response to the content Sozan and I have been posting on TikTok and Instagram, I was able to send $740 to Sozan and her family.

These donations bring not only food — but also hope.

Despite the extreme conditions of hunger and war, Sozan is slowly taking back control of her life. She wants to keep speaking out, return to her university studies, and look to the future.

All of this is only possible because of you.

But she still needs your help. Sozan cannot do this alone.

Food is incredibly expensive, and nothing is possible without the bare minimum to live with dignity.

Sozan’s life and her family’s future are still hanging by a thread.

We are a community supporting this family. Let’s stay united.

To those who have donated: if you can, please continue to support this campaign. Share it. Speak out about what is happening in Gaza. Don’t stop acting.

Thank you from the heart.

This week, thanks to the donations we received, I was able to send around 160 euros (190$) to Sozan and her family.

The money was withdrawn yesterday, and with it, Sozan was finally able to break an almost total fast that had lasted for at least a couple of days.

Unfortunately, Gaza is experiencing a tragedy within a tragedy. The prices of basic goods have skyrocketed. A kilo of flour now costs about $60, and the same goes for almost every other product that is still available.

The situation is desperate. On top of the war, there is now the real threat of death by starvation.

Despite everything, Sozan and I have started publishing content to share her story and raise more donations.

We are trying to hold on, hoping all this will end as soon as possible. Gaza is starving. Let’s talk about it, let’s donate, let’s raise our voices — Sozan’s life, her family’s, and those of hundreds of thousands of others depend on it.

Thank you all.

This week, thanks to the donations collected, I was able to send Sozan and her family about $100.

Unfortunately, due to the challenges of converting money into cash, the rising prices of food and essential goods, and everything connected to the state of war she is living in, Sozan’s morale sometimes gets low.

Still, Sozan keeps posting on her page. She continues to hold on and dream of a better future for herself and her loved ones.

Together with others, I’m thinking about how we might help her relocate to a safer place as soon as it becomes possible. I keep working remotely to support her, so that one day she can live with dignity and fulfill her potential.

We keep moving forward, relying on your support. One day, we’ll be able to look back at all this suffering as just a memory.

Thank you.
