Crisis in Gaza: Join Amal Now to Deliver Life-Saving Relief

Hello, my name is Jasmine. I’m a Taiwanese-Australian and the organiser of this fundraiser in support of Amal—a passionate, ambitious, and determined 25-year-old mother of two girls, Seba and Fatoma, from Rafah, Gaza.
Amal is currently living in a tent after being forcibly displaced like most people in Gaza. She and her family have endured months of unimaginable hardship under constant bombardment and an ongoing total blockade imposed by Israel since March 2025. Despite her own suffering, Amal is deeply committed to helping others in her camp—many of whom don’t even have basic shelter or the means to ask for help.
I first met Amal at the start of this conflict, when she launched a grassroots fundraising initiative to support her displaced community. With incredible drive and compassion, she raised money to purchase bulk essentials—food, water, baby formula, mattresses, and kitchen supplies—and distributed them to multiple families in need. Her efforts were paused only because she was repeatedly displaced across the Strip, but her commitment has never wavered.
Before the war, Amal worked as a kindergarten teacher and hairdresser. She is resourceful, generous, and fiercely determined, with a heart bigger than her circumstances. Even now, with her husband injured and no income, she recently managed to provide a tent for a family of ten in her camp. She’s hoping to continue that initiative, ensuring every family has what they need to survive.
Due to platform restrictions, Palestinians cannot run fundraisers directly, so I’m managing this campaign from Australia. All funds will be transferred directly to Amal as they come in, with full transparency and accountability.
Amal has a big heart, a sharp mind, and unshakable courage. It’s not enough for her to keep just her own family safe—she wants to uplift her entire community. Your support means more than survival; it offers hope, dignity, and relief to those who’ve lost everything.
