Hello, my name is Gabi, I’m an American fundraising for my good friend Amal in Gaza. As a mother, I feel its an obligation to prioritize the survival of other mothers and their children, so I chose to help Amal and her family by creating this link. The previous campaign website was taken down for unknown reasons, so I had to create this new one.
Amal is a 21-year-old mother who is the sole provider for her family after her husband, Muhammad (26), was injured and had half his body paralyzed by Israeli shrapnel. On top of that, Amal recently gave birth to their second child, a little girl by the name of Alma. Her first child is a 3-year-old named Layla. Both children often go without eating and baby Alma requires constant diapers.
Now, Amal is focusing on saving up for her husband Muhammad’s treatment, which requires $800 per month.
She cannot afford to let him go without this life-saving treatment because he would lose mobility without it.
