GAZA: Help humanize Reem’s daily struggle to feed Zain & Wateem.
France
My name is Reem.
My husband, 2 young children and my parents, we are now living in a tent. We are from Rafah, we are now in Khan Younis — after being displaced four times.
Each time we flee, we lose almost everything. The bombs begin to fall. The announcements to evacuate echo constantly. We escape in a rush, carrying only what we can hold in our arms — walking through rubble, fear, and exhaustion.
Our children, Zain and Watteem, are still so young. But even they carry what they can: pots, blankets, the bare essentials just to survive.
Every morning, before the sun rises, we — the adults — wake not to the sound of alarms, but to the roar of drones and the thunder of bombs overhead. The nights are terrifying. Explosions have already fallen dangerously close to our tent.
One night, Zain and my husband were struck by shrapnel. That was too close. Life and death live side by side here.
What was once a bad situation has become unthinkable. The suffering. The hunger. The desperate will to survive. We’ve reached a breaking point.
There’s no longer a question of what’s for dinner. The only question now is: “Can the children eat today?” And the answer is always the same: If there is something to eat, the kids eat first. The adults go without.
I show signs of severe malnutrition — and so does the rest of the family. As a family, we haven’t had a full meal in 19 months. Meat, fish? It’s not even a dream.
Please — help us feed our children. Even a little makes a difference.
Our love has carried us this far. Let your kindness carry us a little further.
A few weeks ago, I shared how tanks and bulldozers entered our area without warning. The occupation forces surrounded us, fired tear gas, shelled, and burned all our tents. My children and I escaped on foot, walking a long distance with nothing.
Now, the situation has grown even worse. We are crammed into a small space that cannot hold many people. We have no food, no clothes, no bedding, no tents — nothing.
My mother’s blood pressure and cholesterol medications have run out because nothing can enter Gaza. She urgently needs them, but we have no way to get them. She is very tired and unwell.
Please, help us raise awareness. Share this and speak out. We need urgent humanitarian assistance for shelter, supplies, and medicine.

Last week, tanks and bulldozers stormed into our camp without warning. They dug fresh graves, fired on everyone in sight, and shelled the area. The bulldozers crushed everything before them—from those graves to our tents and the few belongings we still had. We fled for our lives: my parents, my husband, our two young children, and I injured my foot. Now we’re sitting on open sand beneath the scorching heat with nothing—no shelter, no pots to cook with, nothing at all. We survived, but that’s all. The video shows what is left; this was full of tents only
