Hello! My name is Mia Collyer and I live in Sydney Australia. I help make campaigns for Gazans via the Iqra Arbab initiative! Dr. Madleen Abu Aser lives in the northern Gaza Strip, displaced with her family. Prices are rising drastically due to the blockade, with a single bag of flour costing up to $500. Unfortunately, they have no source of income and are therefore reliant on donors to survive and hopefully travel to a safer place once the borders reopen.
Ultimately, Madleens dream is to help her sisters complete their studies outside the country and work on rebuilding her house which was destroyed.

My name is Madeleine Jawad from the destroyed and besieged northern Gaza Strip. I need your support and help for me and my family. Before the war, I worked as a doctor in the hospital in order to feed and take care of my family, but this war came and destroyed everything. I lost my home, all my possessions, and even all my dreams. My family consists of 10 members and I am unable to meet their needs and feed them because of the high prices in the Gaza markets. Today my family and my children are dying before my eyes from hunger and the scarcity of food we have. Hunger is now exhausting our bodies and my heart is breaking again and again because of my inability to provide them with food and drink. My children are suffering today from skin diseases and epidemics due to the scarcity of clean water. In Gaza, we now live in a hot, dilapidated tent, slowly dying together from the intense heat inside. We used to live in a beautiful home filled with love, security, warmth, and stability. Now we live in a tent, dying every second and every minute inside from the heat. Before the war, I dreamed of securing a future for my children and family and living in safety, security, and peace. Now I can’t do anything, and this saddens me greatly. I created this link hoping that you will help us live again and build a future for my family and provide a living for my children through your generous donations. We are now in dire need of your support and assistance. Even if it is just one dollar, it contributes to our survival and makes a big difference in our continued living.
