Hello friends! I am Mud Mcguire. I am collecting donations on behalf of my friends Mahmoud Al-Tayyibi and Abdulrahman Al-Arouqi. Mahmoud was connected with me through a mutual friend. In the picture above, Mahmoud is on the left and Abdul is on the right!
Mahmoud and Abdul are close friends who have been through many traumas and losses since October 2023. This fundraiser will allow these two friends to afford food and other basic necessities for their families. Please do what you can to help them achieve their goals of providing for their families!
Here is a note from Mahmoud:
“I am Mahmoud Al-Tayyibi, a player on the Palestinian national team. I live in Gaza. My source of livelihood was football. I lost the football riot. I lost my source of livelihood. I lost my brother. I lost my sister’s husband. I lost my future and my only source of livelihood.”
Here is a note from Abdul:
“I am Abdulrahman Al-Arouqi, a player on the Palestinian national team. I live in Gaza. I was greatly affected by the war against us. I lost 22 members of my family, including 3 of my brothers, my brothers’ sons, and my mother-in-law and their sons. Our house was completely bombed, which led to their martyrdom. I lost my future and my only source of livelihood in this war.”

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your support to my dear friends Mahmoud and Abdul!
The situation in Gaza is horrific. The bombings have increased again and there is a lot of uncertainty of what may happen next. Mahmoud has lost many close friends in a very short amount of time. Unfortunately this fundraiser has not received much support and Abdul and Mahmoud have been struggling to help their families in these very heartbreaking times.
Thankfully, due to international pressure, there has been more aid let in to Gaza. There is much more food and basic necessities available in the markets, making everything much more affordable. In addition to this, there are a few stores that now accept use of the Bank of Palestine app to transfer money directly without the need to have physical cash. This will help our friends keep much more of the money they receive from donations because the fees to withdraw cash are extremely high. Now is an excellent time to support our friends with any donation amount that you can spare! If you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser with as many people as possible!
