Kholod is a devoted mother trying to protect and care for her two babies—including a fragile newborn—while surviving unimaginable conditions in Gaza. During her pregnancy, Kholod endured severe starvation as a result of the ongoing genocide. Her baby was born underweight and with serious medical complications, requiring urgent and continuous hospital care.

To make matters even more difficult, Kholod’s husband is blind in one eye and very sick and also requires special food and hospital care for his condition. This family is battling multiple medical crises with no stable access to food, shelter, or healthcare.

They are currently living in Khan Yunis where evacuation orders have been placed and must relocate to a safer location. Unfortunately, there is no more public land available to set up their tent on and are left with renting land on privately owned property. It will cost them $1000 a month to rent land just to have a place to put up their tent on.

They urgently need support to meet their most basic and lifesaving needs:

* $700/month for quality diapers for two babies (that do not leak or cause blisters and infections – especially while living in the outdoors and hot conditions) are critically overpriced due to extreme shortages

* Baby formula and food to nourish her newborn and growing children * Hospital care for the baby and the father * Specialized nutrition for the father’s medical condition * $150 rent to set up their tent in a safer location

* $800 for transportation to evacuate the family to safety

This fundraiser is organized by Jennifer Allred, a trusted friend and advocate for the family. Jennifer is also currently running the fundraiser for Kholod’s brother Moin, who is supporting their parents and siblings. She created this new fundraiser after GoFundMe inexplicably shut down Kholoud’s previous fundraiser without explanation. Despite this setback, Jennifer is determined to make sure this family is not left behind.

Khlood’s 4-month-old baby, Anas, is on the verge of starving to death.

This tiny baby is battling a terrifying combination of illnesses and complications:

He was born with high blood platelets, a blood infection, and rapid breathing.

He now suffers from severe malnutrition, dehydration, persistent diarrhea, and vomiting. His illness remains undiagnosed due to the collapse of Gaza’s medical system, and his condition is rapidly deteriorating.

Anas needs special lactose-free formula, which is extremely expensive and nearly impossible to find. Without it, his body cannot absorb nutrients. He also needs special diapers that don’t cause painful rashes on his already fragile skin.

Khlood is doing everything she can to save her baby, but she is trapped in a place with no access to proper healthcare, no income, and no stable food supply.

Anas doesn’t even have clothes that fit his tiny, starving body.

Every hour counts. We are asking for urgent support to get Anas the formula, diapers, medical help, and essentials he needs to survive.
