In every corner, teachers are honored and respected. They receive salaries that ensure a decent living and live in homes that reflect the value of their role—elevating the nation and building educated societies. But I am a teacher from Gaza. Just me and my mother. I dedicated my life to educating students and instilling hope in their hearts. But since the war, I have found myself helpless, without an income to support us. All this simply because I am a teacher… a school in Gaza, where giving is often met with suffering. Is this my reward? To be left alone to struggle in this life? Don’t let the light of teachers fade—they are the ones who lit the path of society. My mother is diabetic and needs treatment and an operation, and we have no one to support us. Please donate for me… Help us survive, live, and continue a mission that exists to build lasting life.
