Hello, my name is Nazihah or Naz (@naz1hah) and I have created this donation campaign for my friend, Mohand a.k.a. Mohannad (@mohand.anwar1), in North Gaza. All donations from this campaign will be wired to Mohand in Palestine. Here is a message by Mohand himself:
“My name is Mohannad, I’m 18 years old, from Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza.
At the beginning of the war, our home was completely destroyed. They left us with nothing — not even our memories. Everything burned: our photos, my sister’s toys, my school notebooks, and my simple dream of studying and building a future.
Now, we are displaced in Al-Sabra neighborhood. We have no shelter, no food, no safety.
We are a family of five… and some nights, we go to sleep hungry. My little sister Hala is only a year and a half old. She is suffering from malnutrition due to hunger and the severe lack of milk and food. My parents try their best to provide for us — but this war has stolen everything, even bread.
We’ve seen death with our own eyes. We survived bombings, hunger, and fear. I lost my school, my friends, and my future… but I haven’t lost hope.
I’m pleading with you, from the heart of northern Gaza: Please, help us escape this hunger and this war. We just want to live in safety, to rebuild our home, and to find some peace.
