I am collecting funds on behalf of Rashad and his family. He is going through a difficult phase and is looking for support to feed his family. Please read his statement below in his own words.

Hello, my name is Rashad, and I live with my family in the heart of Gaza City. Our lives have been turned upside down by war, displacement, and loss.

During the recent attacks, we were forced to flee our home multiple times. Our house was bombed.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Al-Azhar university. I had dreams of building a better future, but the war shattered everything — our safety, our home, and even the simplest necessities of life.

Since the border closure, it’s become nearly impossible to secure food and basic supplies for my family. I also care for two animals who are part of our family: Lisa, my pregnant cat, and Hope, a dog I rescued from the streets. They rely on me entirely.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you. Your support — whether through donations or sharing this campaign — can make a significant difference in our lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us hope and helps us endure these challenging times.”
