Hello, my name is Alexander, and I am helping raise money for Ahmad and his family in Khan Yunis. Ahmad is the head of the house hold and he is caring for the following people, sister Salma, brother Mohammed, mother, father, his two children, and wife. I am helping raise money so they may eat, and live to see another. As of May, a 25kg bag of flour costs $300… These are dire times and they require immediate action, please help give what you can or at the very least spread and share Ahmad’s story.
“I lived with my family for 28 years working the land and planting wheat, barley and olive trees. My father raised us well and with that I continued on my path. I am building my future. I saved money since I was young and I grew up and built a room and a bathroom in a modest house. Before I got married, I met my wife at a wedding for one of our relatives and I loved her and married her and gave birth to Amir and Ailaf. I used to work hard, by God, planting olives, wheat and barley. My father used to work hard and so did my mother, who was kind. Then suddenly this war happened. All our dreams were destroyed and everything we built was gone in a heartbeat. I have a sister who is also sick with nerves in her head and now they sleep in a tent ⛺️ ”
How your money’$ is reaching Ahmad. Your donations go into an account and when a a threshold amount is reached, money is sent into Gaza via PayPal. From there amhad will withdraw the money from different brockers who take a commission from the top. Currently it is the best way to get money in quickly but it has its drawbacks. Since the all Palestinian banks have been bombed currency and all regular bank transfers have been suspended/destroyed.
