Help Firas in Gaza
Australia
My name is Firas Al-Ladah. I am 18 years old and the eldest of six siblings. We are from Gaza, and since the war began, my life has been turned upside down. My father was seriously injured—his foot was wounded, and his hand was burned. He is now in Egypt receiving medical treatment. That has left me, the oldest son, to take responsibility for my family.
We are currently displaced and staying in my mother’s family home, but we have no food, no flour, and no income. Prices in Gaza have skyrocketed—food and clean water are unaffordable luxuries. Jobs are impossible to find. Every day is a struggle just to survive.
I have younger siblings who rely on me: Anas (16), Malak (14), Maram (12), Quality (8), and Jourieh (5). Our mother is here with us, doing her best to care for everyone. But we are running out of options.
Despite everything, I haven’t given up on my dream. I want to study medicine. I want to help others like the doctors who are helping my father now. But without support, university is completely out of reach.
This campaign is to help us meet our basic needs—food, water, shelter—and to help me begin my studies in medicine when it becomes possible. Any donation, no matter how small, helps us survive and brings me one step closer to rebuilding a future.
Please donate and share if you can.
Thank you, Firas
