Peace be upon you. I am fine and happy that your family is well, thank God.
How is the situation in your city now? Can you get food and heating?
The situation is very difficult, and the crossing is still closed. Food is scarce, and prices are very high.
I currently live in a border area.
The occupation tanks are close to my home, and they fire heavily at us every day.
There is no stability.
My children need diapers, milk, and food.
I never care about myself, but I care about the lives of my children and wife.
I hope you are well, my friend. I will send you more in two weeks, and I will post on X in the meantime.
Ahmed, his family, and I thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Any amount you can donate—even a pound, a dollar, or a euro—will help Ahmed and his family overcome this living nightmare and rebuild their lives when they are able to.
Share this campaign as widely as possible, with your friends, family, and acquaintances.
What is the purpose of my donation?
As I mentioned, Ahmed will use his donation to purchase basic necessities, such as food, milk, diapers, and clothing, and to maintain his home. I will also post photos of some of the items he was able to purchase with your donation.
How will the donations reach Ahmed?
All donations to Stripe go through my bank account, where I transfer them directly to Ahmed’s account at the Bank of Palestine. Once he receives the bank transfer, Ahmed goes to a cashier because he doesn’t have physical access to banks or ATMs in his location. Ahmed transfers the money digitally to the cashier, who then gives him the cash.
For more information, you can search for “How do Palestinians get cash in Gaza?”
What fees will be deducted from my donation?
In the UK, I can choose between the “shared model” or the “flat-fee model” when it comes to the amount of fees deducted. I chose the shared model, which means the 2-3% card fee is deducted from the donation, and you can choose to increase your donation to contribute to the platform’s 4.9% fee.
Otherwise, my bank charges £15 for international bank transfers, but this will be deducted from my donation. I don’t know if the Bank of Palestine also charges fees for receiving the transfer.
