In the heart of Gaza, there was a simple family: the father, Hamed, his wife, and their daughters. They suffered deeply from the horrors of war — they lost their home, their memories, and were forced to endure hunger, fear, and repeated displacement, moving from one neighborhood to another in search of safety they never found.

At a critical moment, Hamed made the difficult decision to send his wife and daughters to Egypt, hoping to protect them from the growing danger. They left Gaza just one day before the Rafah border crossing was completely destroyed. Since that day, more than a year has passed, and Hamed has not been able to leave or reunite with his family.

The border remains closed, the money he had has run out, and all paths forward are blocked. Today, he lives alone under bombardment and destruction, in extremely harsh humanitarian conditions — without enough food, without a safe shelter, and without stable communication with his family, who are struggling alone in Egypt with no income, no support, and aching for the love and protection of their father.

There is nothing more painful than being torn apart from the people you love — watching your children grow up far away, not knowing if they’re okay, and them not knowing if you’re still alive.

We ask you to share our story with as many people as possible. Maybe our voices will reach someone who can help us bring our father out of the war in Gaza and reunite our family once again. Every share could be a step toward hope.
