Hello, my name is Hadeel, I am 24 years old, a young Palestinian woman from Gaza.
I completed my high school education with a 97% score in the scientific stream, driven by my passion for technology. My biggest dream has always been to become a software engineer at a global company like Google. I enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza to study engineering, and I was supposed to be in my final year, close to graduating and achieving my dream.
However, everything changed when the Israeli occupation launched a brutal war on Gaza. Universities were destroyed, and I was forced to drop out. My life came to a complete halt after my home was bombed, and I lost all my equipment and devices essential for my studies. Even worse, I lost beloved people dear to my heart.
During this war, we were displaced multiple times, moving from one place to another under unimaginable conditions. After a year and a half of living through this destruction and genocide, I made the decision that my family and I must survive. We must find a safe place to continue our journey in life, to rebuild our dreams, and to stand strong once again.
Here in Gaza, we have great talents and ambitions, but we are trapped under endless violence. I still believe in the goodness of people. In a world where injustice and cruelty exist, I know there are kind and compassionate hearts out there.
Today, I ask for your help — your support is our only hope. I am trying to raise €70 to help my family and me travel to another country, where I can continue my education and build a future in software engineering.
