Hello! My name is Mud Mcguire and I am organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend Ahmed Awad in Gaza. Ahmed’s previous fundraiser met its goal thanks to many kind souls! Unfortunately this escalation of genocide has not ended yet, and Ahmed still needs support from his international friends and supporters! Each donation will help Ahmed afford basic necessities such as food, medicine, clothing, etc. Please donate what you can to help Ahmed and his loved ones continue to survive in these extremely difficult times!

Ahmed is truly one of the kindest most caring people I have ever met. On his instagram (@ahmed_awed_99) you will find many videos of Ahmed helping his community by distributing water and food to many people in need. He is a beautiful soul and he is a blessing to those who know him. Everything you do to help such as donating, following and interacting with his posts on instagram, and sharing this fundraiser will make Ahmed’s life a little easier!

As of today (28/04/2025) there has been no aid brought into Gaza for two months. The scarcity of food has caused the cost to skyrocket, making it nearly impossible to survive without financial support. This is why it is vital that those of us who can donate continue to support our friends in Gaza! Even small donations can make a huge difference!

All donations will be collected in my Canadian bank account until they will be wired directly to Ahmed’s bank account.

“Hello dear supporters, I am Ahmed Awad. I am 26 years old, a football player, and an accountant. After finishing my University studies in accounting with excellent grades, I found a job and started building my life until this war came. It destroyed all the beautiful things in my life and forced me to stop working, putting my life on pause. The war has crushed all my dreams, we’ve lost all our belongings, and now we live in a tent. The challenges of living in this war are indescribable and the circumstances only become more difficult as the cold approaches. All I ask from you is to help me reach safety in Egypt so I can rebuild my life and live in peace. All of my gratitude and thanks goes out to you for your donations.
