My name is Saad, I am 24 years old, and I live in Gaza with my family. I am writing this because my younger brother, who is just 12 years old, is suffering from a chronic skin disease called psoriasis.
This illness causes him severe itching, pain, and visible skin damage. It’s affecting his physical and emotional wellbeing. The war has made everything worse. We’ve lost our income, and prices for medicine have become impossibly high. We simply cannot afford the treatment he needs to relieve his pain.
As his older brother, it breaks my heart to watch him suffer and not be able to help. All I want is to ease his pain, but we are struggling even to afford basic food—let alone medication.
I am starting this fundraiser to buy his treatment. Every dollar raised will go directly to the medicines, creams, and supplies he needs.
