Hey, my name is Rin. I am fundraising for Saif and his family in Gaza, who are now in a pressing situation that urgently needs our support.
These are Saif’s words: Hello, my good people , my name is Saif Al-Sharqawi I’m 23 years old, and I am a Palestinian from southern Gaza. Today I came to you with an urgent appeal coming straight from my heart. My sisters, my family and I desperately need your support, as does any young man with dreams, aspirations, and a desire for a better life, not only for me but also for my family. But the Israeli occupation cast a shadow over our hopes, making it very difficult to achieve our goals. In 2023, when this occupation intensified its aggression against the Gaza Strip, it destroyed my family’s home and also destroyed my source of income, which was our source of income. Currently studying interior decoration and design engineering, I worked hard for years working in youth clothing stores to earn a living. The occupation responded by demolishing our homes and my family’s house, which was his dream to realise a house. My own business in which I worked was my only source of income and it was completely destroyed, and we have nothing left in this life, and we will face the bitter reality of homelessness once the war is over.” My family consists of 5 members. My father is 77 years old. My mother is also 54 years old. I have two nice sisters, Shooq and Aya. My sister Shooq,19-year-old lost her university education because of this ongoing war. My younger sister, Aya, is 17 years old. She lost her school like all the children and lived a very bad life. Your donations will help them buy basic daily essentials such as food, clean water, medicine, hygiene products, and anything else they may need to survive this nightmare. I will send all donations directly to Saif and his family. Thank you all very much for your time and support for Saif and his family during this unimaginable time.
