Mohammed is a young father trapped in Gaza with his wife and their newborn baby. Since the start of the crisis, they’ve been living in unimaginable conditions—displaced from their home, surrounded by danger, with no stable access to basic necessities.
Through messages over WhatsApp, I’ve stayed in touch with Mohammed as he shares the daily struggles of fatherhood under siege. His baby is just a few weeks old and urgently needs formula and diapers—essentials that have become impossible to find or afford due to skyrocketing prices and scarce supply.
