Hello.. I am Sahar from Gaza, I am 32 years old, I am in the 6th month of pregnancy. I have 3 children: my eldest daughter Nour, who is 12 years old, my son Ahmed, who is 10 years old, and my daughter Seela, who is 5 years old. I want you to help me and look at my children with mercy and compassion… My children deserve to live and live like the rest of the children in the world… In light of the difficult circumstances we are going through and the high prices, my children need food, clean water, and treatment. I cannot provide anything for them… I need medicine and vitamins for my fetus, so that it can come out safely. Help us, you good people
My name is Hannah Rucker. I know Sahar through my beloved friend Iman, who looks out for her friends and entrusted me with this campaign. The funds we collect will go directly to Sahar. Food prices are rising daily as the full blockade of Gaza continues, and families must pay rent, medical costs, and evacuation costs. Your donations are a lifeline in this extended crisis. Small and large donations will be received with gratitude and love.
Dear friends, thank you for your continued support for Sahar. Unfortunately, her pregnancy is endangered because she cannot access healthy food in sufficient quantities. It’s even harder for her to find healthy food that does not trigger IBS symptoms. Fresh fruits and vegetables remain incredibly expensive. Your donations are critical to restoring her health.
Sahar is so grateful for your love and solidarity. Here, she describes her situation:
“Today I went to the obstetrician. Unfortunately, my health isn’t good, especially with regard to the fetus. She told me that my weight is lower than expected and that he is inactive, meaning he is tired and exhausted. Also, when she did some tests on me, it turned out that I have severe anemia, even though I was taking iron pills. My weight has decreased with each visit. My blood pressure has dropped. I was officially registered as malnourished and anemic. She asked me to double my nutritional supplement intake. In addition to doubling my iron pills, I should take two pills a day. I also took Omega 3 Plus pills. She also asked me to buy calcium supplements because of the severe pain in my feet. She said it was due to my low calcium stores. She asked me to double my meal intake and eat healthy, nutritious foods. She also asked me to avoid legumes because I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, which is why I cannot take colon pills. I am now feeling sad about all of this. It was a shock.”
