My name is Mohammed, I am 29 years old, and I am from Gaza.
I spent seven years away from my homeland, enduring the pain of being separated from my family and friends , all in pursuit of a simple dream: to save enough money to start a stable life, build a warm home , and create a future for my own family.
At the end of 2022, I returned to Gaza filled with hope . I started my own small business , finally ready to begin the life I had worked so hard for during those years abroad.
During this time, I met Aya, my life partner—21 years old, a university student at Al-Azhar University . She dreamed of her graduation day, and like any young woman, she looked forward to wearing her white dress on our wedding day .
We got engaged , and together we began preparing our home and planning our wedding with love and excitement ❤️. Every detail was carefully chosen as we looked forward to building our life together under one roof.
But then, everything changed. ⚡
The occupation arrived suddenly—and destroyed it all.
Everything we had dreamed of, everything we worked for, was taken from us in an instant. We never even had the chance to live in our home for a single day. Our joy was stolen before it even began, and our future was shattered before our eyes.
Today, we have no source of income. Both my family and my wife’s family are living under siege, constant bombardment, fear, hunger, and complete uncertainty. Life has become incredibly difficult, and we are simply trying to survive each day.
Any support—no matter how small—can make a big difference.
Help us start over. Help us recover even a small part of the dream that was lost. Help us give our families a glimmer of hope in these dark times.
