Message from Mai: I am Mai, or Umm Muhammad, from Rafah and I have been displaced to the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis several times. I have three children: Muhammad, Kamal and Jourie. I created this link with my friend Riti to collect donations to buy food, drink and clothes for my children and to try to repair my home that was destroyed during the war. Please stand by us during these difficult times, we will be grateful for each donation.
Dear friends,
We want to take a moment to thank each of you who has donated, shared, and supported Mai and her family. Your kindness has been a lifeline. Mai asked me to tell you how deeply grateful she is—for every prayer, every dollar/euro, every act of care.
Thanks to your support, the family was able to meet some basic needsafter they were forcibly displaced (again) in April. They arrived to Al Mawasi, Khan Younis with only the few boxes of belongings they were able to bring with them (see photo) and had to sleep outside until they were able to procure a tent.
Still, Mai continues to fight for her children, and your help gives her strength.
Today in Gaza, a bag of flour costs over $300. May can’t afford it, and her children go to sleep hungry So please keep sharing. Please keep donating if you can. Because besides giving the people of Gaza hope, donating is how we keep them alive as long as possible. Every bit makes a real, human difference.
