My name is Simran, and I am a college student in Massachusetts raising funds for my friend Mohammed and his family to survive the genocide in Gaza. Here is his story:

“My name is Muhammad Shaat. I am 29 years old. I live in Gaza. I am married and have a child named Maher. He is 4 years old. He has suffered from severe fear and panic as a result of the war on Gaza, and I cannot provide the basic requirements of life. I lost my home as a result of the war on Gaza, and my wife and I no longer have a shelter. My family and I move from one place to another every day. I was working in a factory and my only source of livelihood was cut off. I cannot provide the basic requirements of life. I live with 8 members of my family, including my wife, son, mother, father, and two brothers, in one tent.

My family and I need your support and help, even if just a little. The situation is getting worse day by day and the fear of death or displacement increases every day without any safe place to move to. I ask you to help me and my family leave Gaza urgently to rebuild our future and start a new life.”
