I’m Yaseen from Gaza. I am the sole provider for my family, but the war has devastated my entire life. I have lost my home, my job, and all sources of income. My mother is paralyzed and completely dependent on a wheelchair. The war has severely affected her health, and now she is also losing her hearing. Doctors say that if she does not get immediate treatment, she could lose her hearing permanently. Her condition is critical, and this is an extremely difficult time for me.
My mother needs constant medical care, medications, and proper nutrition, but we have nothing left. Our family is going through severe hardship. We are now in a destroyed area, living inside a tent without even basic necessities. We have nothing—no food, no clean water, and no medical supplies for my paralyzed mother.
I have gotten sick many times, now becuase of contaminated drinking water. Medicine is very difficult to find. Food prices are very high right now because of the famine and blockades. Five kilos of flour costs $100 and only lasts my family four days.
