A Heartfelt Plea from a Family in Gaza

To whoever hears our voice,

We are a family from Gaza, once sheltered in our home, now left with nothing but the sky above us and the ground beneath us. Our house in Al-Shuja’ia was completely destroyed, and with it, our sense of safety, our memories, our refuge.

We are six souls struggling to survive, including our elderly mother, whose frail body endures the unimaginable. Our four children—Muhammad (15), Rimas (14), Razan (10), and Abdul Rahman (5)—wake up each day to hunger, fear, and uncertainty. Rimas, our bright and kind-hearted daughter, suffers from a chest condition that makes each breath a battle in these dire conditions.

We are exhausted. We are desperate. We need food, water, and medicine. But more than anything, we need hope—we need the world to see us, to help us, to not forget us.

Please, hear our plea. Help us survive.

With hope and urgency,

The mosabeh family from Gaza
