Hi there!

We are Greta and Alex, 2 mums in Melbourne supporting our friend Madeha and her family in Gaza

Madeha, her husband and her six children recently moved back to the north of the Gaza Strip following their displacement in the south following the implementation of the temporary ceasefire. Their home was destroyed and they now live in a tent on top of the ruins of a relatives home with no access to basic necessities.

This fundraiser is to help Madeha buy food, clean water, medication, personal hygiene items, and anything else required for the safety and well-being of the family.

Urgently, Madeha would like to buy a matress and build a tent room for her kids.

The remainder of this story are Madeha’s words:

The war destroyed everything and killed our relatives, and now we are struggling to survive.

We suffer every day. We want to escape from Gaza. Let us unite and show the world how compassionate you are, be in solidarity with us.

A simple help from you is enough to save an innocent family who is not at fault for what is happening. Here we suffer a lot in obtaining fresh water. When I see the children of the camp and my own children standing for hours to bring a liter of water, sadness is killing me.

Hi everyone,

Times are very tough for Mera. She left the tent to go back to a more dangerous part of Gaza because she felt she had no choice. Donations have been slow the past week. If you can, please send whatever you can afford or share this with friends and family.

Mera and her youngest daughter, a toddler have asthma but unfortunately they have needed to evacuate to a tent because they don’t have funds to rent a house and this plays havoc with their condition.

They have found a room that is $1100 AUD ($700 USD – as described in the image attached) per month but they can’t afford it. Can we help?
