Mayar is 25 and a newly graduated nursing student from Gaza. She went to Egypt for medical treatment and is now separated from her family in the south of Gaza as they try to survive the war. They are at risk of death. She says, “my family of 10 people, mostly children, are living the worst days of their lives because of rockets, famine, malnutrition and living on the sand without shelter.” Campaign goals: a plastic tent, food, and evacuation to safety when the war ends.
