Hello, I am Alex from Paris, France. A friend told me about Fayez and his family and I decided to help. We have been in contact on social media since, here is his message :
I am Fayez from Gaza. I am asking for help to save my mother from a serious illness. She needs urgent surgery, and I do not have the money to pay for it. Please, my friend, donate to me, even a little. I am 29 years old. I live under the bombardment and constant aggression against Gaza. Here we struggle with a life of constant death and loss. I lost a large part of my family. I lost my cat and my dog. We also lost our house. We were displaced from one place to another, searching for safety. In fact, there is no safe place. We had many ambitions and hopes. I graduated from university and intended to travel, work, and many other things. But the war came and destroyed all that. We also had a source of livelihood and clothing shops. The occupation completely destroyed and burned them all, and we no longer have any source of livelihood.
We were starved and displaced more than 10 times until we ended up in the outskirts of Khan Yunis in a tent that no animal can live in, let alone a human being, it cannot protect us from the cold or even the rain. Even our most basic rights have become impossible, every day killing, displacement and destruction. We also lack access to food and drinking water. We suffered from many diseases, such as hepatitis and malnutrition due to the lack of a suitable environment for life, and I had surgery to remove the gallbladder. Here we live in hunger and fear. My mother also suffers from chronic diseases and we cannot find a cure for them. Our lives are in danger.
We travel long distances to be on the internet and explain our message to you, please do not ignore us, we are human beings. I hope you can help, even if just a little, as this will help us get out of death. Thank you.
