I lost my husband, Omar, in the war—just a few months after we got married. I was pregnant with our daughter, Ayla, when he was taken from us.
Now, I’m alone—doing everything I can to protect Ayla. But it’s getting harder every day.
Ayla is severely malnourished and lacking essential vitamins. As a mother, it breaks me to watch her suffer while I struggle to provide even the basics: food, medicine, warmth.

As the situation in Gaza has continued to deteriorate due to the blockade of all aid from entering since March 1, 2025; food in the markets is scarce, expensive, and low quality, jeopardizing Ayla’s health in a critical period of her development; bombardments continue to escalate, putting Bshaer and her family at risk of displacement at any minute; even access to clean water has been shut off. Bshaer needs your support now more than ever.
Currently, she has 3 more days until her rent is due and still needs to raise $1400. Bshaer is in the horrible position of choosing between a roof over her head and food for her newborn daughter. Anything you can do to make this process easier for her, by donating and sharing, would be much appreciated.
