He was taken prisoner two months before our wedding, and I am deeply heartbroken because we got engaged after a long and difficult journey. My father was initially against our engagement, but my fiancé persistently pleaded until he agreed. My fiancé worked tirelessly, 12 hours a day without rest, to save money and propose to me.
After so much effort, we finally got engaged. He told me he would surprise me with a big gift on my birthday, but he was taken prisoner two months before it. That gift was meant to be our wedding. Sadly, he was taken away from me. Before he left, he wrote to me, asking me to take care of myself and forgive him.
On the first day of his capture, I went to his house, slept on his bed, and cried endlessly. As I looked under his pillow, I found the watch I had given him for his birthday. I have kept it with me ever since, along with one of his shirts.
From that day until now, I have not seen him or known anything about him. Recently, we received information that he is a prisoner and that his fingers were broken with a hammer due to severe torture.
I hope to raise donations to buy a tent and clothes for us, to keep them ready for when he returns to me. It will be for both of us because if he is released, he will not be able to move due to the torture he endured.
