Nyangono
I am Nyangono Angel Cléra, a Cameroonian citizen, writing to request financial assistance to support my safe relocation out of Cameroon due to the ongoing crisis and violent conflict in the country. The escalating violence, displacement, and humanitarian concerns have created a situation where I am unable to live a safe, secure, and productive life in my home country. This funding will help cover the costs of relocation, living expenses, and the resettlement process in a more stable environment, where I can rebuild my life.
Cameroon is currently facing an intense socio-political and military crisis, especially in the Anglophone regions, where I am from. The ongoing armed conflict has led to widespread violence, destruction of infrastructure, displacement of families, loss of livelihoods, and an uncertain future for citizens, including myself. The impact of this crisis has been devastating, particularly for civilians who are caught in the crossfire. Many have lost their homes, access to education, and essential services like healthcare.
As a result, I have made the difficult decision to seek refuge outside of Cameroon to ensure my safety and wellbeing. The lack of resources, instability, and fear for my life make it impossible for me to continue living in my home country.
Your financial support that will enable me to:
1. Relocate safely from Cameroon to a country where I can find refuge and a better future.
2. Cover the costs of visa application, transportation, and initial settlement expenses.
3. Ensure a smooth transition into a safer environment where I can access education, healthcare, and a stable source of income.
4. Rebuild my life in a place free from conflict, with the hope of contributing positively to the community in my new home.
The ongoing conflict in Cameroon, particularly in the Anglophone regions, has rendered many parts of the country unsafe. The risk of being caught in the violence, the breakdown of law and order, and the lack of basic services such as healthcare and education have made it impossible for me to continue living in a secure environment. Additionally, the economic impact of the crisis has made it nearly impossible for me to support myself or plan for a sustainable future.
Relocating to a more peaceful country will allow me to live with dignity, access opportunities, and ultimately contribute to the betterment of society. Given my current situation, I believe that relocation is the only viable option for ensuring my safety and well-being.
This project primarily focuses on securing the relocation of myself, Nyangono Angel Cléra, and ensuring my integration into a safer environment. However, it is worth noting that many other individuals and families in similar situations face the same threats and challenges. While the primary focus is on my immediate relocation, this proposal highlights the broader need for humanitarian assistance for civilians affected by the conflict in Cameroon.
