Campaign for Mohammed and his family in Gaza
Australia
This campaign is for Mohammed and his family, who have been displaced by the israeli occupation seven times since October 2023. Mohammed tells his story:
“I am Mohammed from Gaza, 50 years old. I am a simple man and very poor. I am married my wife and 6 children are with me. Our home was in Khuza’a village. It was destroyed by the occupation, with all our possessions. We have been displaced 7 times since the war began. We are now back in Khan Yunis again. The beautiful city has been destroyed by the occupation. We live on the street under tarps and blankets because I cannot afford to by a tent for my family. It is wet and cold in this harsh winter in Gaza.”
Mohammed urgently needs to buy treatment for himself, his wife and daughter, and to buy a tent for the family to live in.
“I need money to make a tent, buy medicine, and buy food and water. I want to have enough treatment for me, my wife and daughter. My wife has a back injury and must take pain medication until we can have an operation. My daughter has a progressive eye disease. I am asthmatic and the medication I take has quadrupled in price since the start of the war.
Prices for food and water are astronomical in Gaza because the occupation controls the crossings and allows armed settler gangs to hyjack the aid trucks and sell the food to Palestinian merchants at exorbitant prices. A bag a flour 25kg costs $500 in Khan Yunis.”
With this crowdfunding campaign, we hope to raise as much as possible by crowdfunding to help them until the war ends and thereafter to help them back on their feet. The objective is to pay for their food, water, medicine, treatment, and other necessities. We hope to raise $10,000!
Please help Mohammed and his family by donating to this campaign. Whether small or large, all donations are gratefully accepted.
Thank you for your support for these desperate and beautiful people.
The occupation’s return to bombing has caused Mohammed and his family to move again. They are now on the street, wandering around Khan Yunis area.
They say the situation is “very, very, very, very difficult” for them, with little food, no water and rationed medicines.
The prices of medications, food and water have increased again and all are becoming more difficult to find. Please double your efforts, donate and share widely.
Thank you for supporting this desperate family.
